Pupil Parliament at Ewhurst
The aim of the Pupil Parliament is to promote pupil leadership opportunities, enabling children to develop valuable communication, organisation and debating skills through key roles of responsibility and new experiences. It also helps to give the children a sense of belonging at Ewhurst.
Each council runs meetings where members take on different roles and responsibilities. The council members work together on their chosen projects, and discuss challenges and resolutions with different members of staff. This is to ensure that the views of the pupils are listened to, debated and acted upon so that the Pupil Parliament gets the best outcome for every project.
