Our School Day

Our current school week comprises a total of 30 hours and 25 minutes. 

A typical school day at Ewhurst CofE Infant school follows the following timetable:

7.45am      Breakfast Club opens

8.40am      Main school gate opens (A member of the staff is on duty to welcome everyone).

                 Children are brought directly to the outdoor class entrance and start their early morning activities

8.45am      School gate is closed and morning registration is taken

10.20am    Collective worship

10.35am    Morning break

10.55am    School bell.  Children line up in classes and class teachers take children into school.

12.00pm    Lunchtime

1.00pm      School bell.  Children line up in classes and class teachers take children into school.

3.15pm      School day ends.  Children are handed to parents/carers by class teacher/LSA.

                 After-school Explorers Club (including extra-curricular clubs) begins

6.00pm      After-school Explorers Club ends
